Nineteen Weird Guys and a Portrait of the Artist

Nineteen Weird Guys cover

I made my first little mini-comic for the Chicago Comic Con in 1997. Most of the comics folk I knew started with the minis and eventually graduated to “real” comics. I kind of went the other way.
At the time I was working hard on completing Dear Julia, so I went through several of my sketchbooks and picked out some of my favorite drawings of, well, weird guys.

The book is about 3.5 inches tall and 2.5 inches wide. I’m still putting them together thirteen years later. If you want one they’re $3.00. Drop me an email.
