I will visit your school!
If you teach kids and they love books, you can set up an appearance by me, a real live illustrator! With my computer and your projector, I can show how I draw pictures for my books, I talk about my job, and I'll even make drawings. I can talk specifically about one book or series, or make it more general. If you want, I can even play a few tunes on the ukulele. Roscoe Riley Rules

Roscoe Riley is a six-book series written by Katherine Applegate and published by HarperCollins. The first three books were published in May 2008 and the following three will come out in 2009. Roscoe is a first-grader who, while well-meaning and trying to be helpful, always gets into trouble. The stories are short and the writing is lively and really, really funny.
Here are the first four covers. I'll put the next two up as soon as they're done. Some illustrations from inside the books are below the covers.

I drew about 14-17 black and white illustrations for the interiors of the books as well. Here are some examples of these. Click on the small images to see larger ones magically appear.
