Un Mode de Transport

This is a mostly wordless picture book for the French book publisher Éditions du Rouergue. They asked me to choose a subject and explore the subject with my drawings. I love drawing cars, airplanes, trains, boats, shoes, etc, so that's what I did.
The book was published in March 2004. It might be found at Amazon France, still, as well as FNAC and maybe some other places.

• I got to go to the Salon du Livres de Paris in March 2004 where I signed copies of the book. Merci à chacun qui est venu par la cabine et a dit bonjour.
• Here are a couple of pictures and a write-up from Libération newspaper.
• Six illustrations from the book were chosen for the Illustrator's Exhibit at the 2005 Bologna Children's Book Fair.
• Un Mode de Transport was featured in Martin Salisbury's freaking great book Play Pen: New Children's Book Illustration published in 2007 by Laurence King Publishers. It's available on Amazon and apart from my stuff it's just great.
