Otto Henke spent ten years racing in the European circuit before coming over to stock cars in 2003. He has yet to win a race in the US, blaming his lack of success on the fact that he’s “just slower than the other guys.”

These six collages were created in January 2009 for a show at the Main Line Arts Center near Philadelphia. They are each 10×10 inches and are collaged and painted with a variety of materials. The inspiration of course is Nascar, but my own weird take on it. Cars #2 and #4 have been sold, but some of the others are currently for sale.
