Willie Nelson played The Fillmore in San Francisco for five shows last week and I was pleased to be asked to make one of the posters. I was asked to somehow include a guitar in the design, so I did that. The final was printed 4-color at 12×19 inches. If you happened to see the show, let us know how was it? I've never seen Willie Nelson play, but gee I'd like to.

Wilson Biggs made this.
Yes, Wilson made this and blogged it. I guess it counts for news. He had a project to create something out of trash and junk. He designed this car and we put it together last night and today. Elliot helped paint the graphics, as well. More pics on Flickr.

Klutz Window Art

The kids' game and activity publisher Klutz just released this new book of Window Art Peel-off Window Decorations. If you like activities, and if you have windows, you want this. I drew several of the traceable artwork in the book, including (go figure) a super-hero, a UFO, planets, and a robot factory. I hear it's available on Amazon and Barnes & Noble and arts & craft stores.

I'll be reading and drawing and probably causing trouble at the Headhouse Books booth this Saturday at the Philadelphia Book Festival. The official note from Headhouse goes like this:

This weekend, bring your family and friends to visit HeadHouse Book's booth at the Philadelphia Book Festival between 11 AM and 7 PM. Our tent will be on 20th and Wood Street, across the street from the Friends Book Corner. We will have a great selection of award-winning books–perfect "pool side" reading for all ages!

I'll be showing up around 1pm and leaving around 2:30ish.
In addition be sure to see One Ring Zero at 2:30 on Sunday at the Toyota Music Stage.

Enjoy!
