Winifred Peabody and her little cat Witcher were really quite sweet little creatures, despite their outward appearances. Poor Winifred suffered from a strange skin condition that tinted her flesh a gruesome green, so she was only comfortable leaving her house on Halloween. No one made fun of her, when they thought she was wearing a mask.

it was her cat's skin condition
that their neighbors all thought was a fake.
