This is Elena Zamboni. Ellen wanted to trick=or-treat as Sponge Bob Square Pants but she, unwisely, asked her older brother, Alonzo, to help her with her costume. Alonzo got a little carried away. Elena was very upset until Alonzo told her that this was Sponge Bob all grown up and he had gotten so smart his brains had popped right out of his head.
Name: Larry
Description: Fond of old B-movies, he often goes for the mad scientist look on Halloween. His favorite candy is anything with both chocolate and caramel in it…and he usually has some sort of mad scientist prop for his costume tucked away in his pockets.
Having been given very little spending money this Halloween, little Daniel Clearwater of Hancock, Massachusetts had to make do with what he had on hand. He found a good sized cardboard box in his family's recycle bin and used all his 8 year old muscles to squash that box into a roundish shape. He molded some silly putty for a nose, stretched his very own glasses out to use for eyes, and hand stitched and stuffed a bit of pink fleece into the shape of a brain. And late one night, while grandpa slept in his favorite chair, little Daniel Clearwater took grandpa's false teeth from their glass on the table and glued them to the front of his new monster mask. He added a little yarn for hair, kissed his mother goodbye, and went out to gather some treats, having already pulled off the biggest trick of the night!

Little G. Ray Mattur sometimes wished his father was a plastic surgeon instead of a handyman… duct tape, superglue and a little ingenuity just don't work so well in repairing a tragic skateboarding accident as they do when fixing a squeaky cabinet door.
