driver #5
SHe may be cute, but don't let that fool you. She will gladly blow your doors off and put you into the wall.
Sacha suggested that one of the race cars needs to be driven by a lady driver. Here she is. Materials used: acrylic and part of a GapKids ad on yellow pages.

Hey, it looks different here now than it did before.
I changed the "theme" of this news page. I'm hoping to make more changes over the coming weeks. The idea is to make this news section look more like the rest of my website. If you see things move around and change colors, that's why. If you come across things that just look plain old wrong, send me an email and let me know. Different is good. But wrong is just not right.

Finished two more of the race cars. Each one is closer to what I had in my old head when I conceived of these things. I'm spending a bit more time planning them, and being a little tighter with the craft part of it.
I've two more to do for the show on Feb 8, and then I'll see where to go next.
You can see how these are made on my Flickr page here.

race car #2
Two down, four to go.
I added some logos and stickers that I made with a laser printer on this one. The driver is from the Yellow Pages. Stay tuned.

Started race car #2 today.
All the blue is from magazines and the driver and windshield is from the yellow pages.
Note as well that I've sanded down the gesso, revealing the wood. I like this. I'm gonna do it on the rest of the collages.

I added a collection of robot prints on to my Etsy store today. These are 5×7 and can be bought individually or as a trio. You know you want it!
