Back when Shredderman was first published, in 2004, I got a phone call from Barbara Gross, librarian at Gladwyne Elementary school near Philadelphia. She wanted me to come and give a presentation at her school. This was my first visit to an elementary school to talk about my work, and since then I’ve been to a dozen or more elementary schools, a couple of libraries, an art center, and a university or two showing examples of my work and talking to students about how I make it.
I love these visits, so not too long ago I decided I need to put a page about these visits on my website. If you are a teacher or a librarian, most of the information you’ll need is now online. If you are a student or parent, let your teacher or school librarian know about this page, and tell him or her to get in touch! Any specifics like schedules and fees can be answered via email.
Please feel free to get in touch and ask me any questions.
On a related note, I visited The Nottingham School back on May 14. There is a nice article online today about my visit there. Take a look!
